Hello!
I am looking for 1 or 2 housemates for a lovely house in Silver Spring (Forest Glen Rd. and Georgia Ave). 2 rooms are available. 1 metro stop away from MC. Total commute time 5-10 mins door to door since the metro is less than 1 block away!!
The House:
-1 block from Forest Glen Metro (Red line)
-Right off 495
-Furnished or unfurnished
-Dining room/living room with windows, 1 full bath, 1half bath, a full kitchen, two storage rooms, full access to the backyard.
-Spacious side apartment unit with separate entrance. The owner, a female young professional, lives upstairs, and there would be 3 of us living downstairs.
-Central AC/Heat
-Wireless internet
The Area:
-Nice, safe, quiet residential area
-Commute to Metro Center Metro is ~ 20 minutes
-One metro stop from Wheaton (Westfield shopping center, supermarkets, Ballys Gym and Target, etc.)
-One metro stop from Silver Spring (bustling downtown, movie theatres, nice restaurants, Golds gym, etc.)
-Bike/ walking trails walking distance away
The Price:
-$550 + utilities per room (2 rooms available but you can just take 1)
-Utilities = vary based on season but will generally be around $50/ month for most of the year and $100/month during the heavy winters. Includes gas, water, electric and Verizon Fios cable + wireless internet.
- One month security deposit for possible damages
-No smokers and no pets (outside smokers might be ok..)
-Cleanliness is quite important to us, especially common areas
-Be respectfully quiet particularly at late hours

Hi, It's August 25. I have one bedroom--furnished, semi-furnished or unfurnished--available for rent upstairs in my calm family home. In-room fridge, central air and heat. Has own 1/2 bath. Washer and drier available, also using kitchen is ok. Asking $525/month, including utilities and wireless internet, cable. In Rock Creek Forest - a quiet, safe residential area. On-street parking. Five short blocks maximum to Ride-On bus to MC/TP , downtown Silver Spring, SS Metro, etc. or J buses to Bethesda, MC/Rockville, Friendship Heights. We are 1 adult and 1 responsible adolescent boy, plus very friendly harmless mineature poodle. If you have a small dog, that's ok. No cats.
