The Purpose of Fundraising
Funds may be raised by recognized student clubs and organizations. This page is a way to manage and keep track of income and expenses. Many times, student groups mistake fundraising as a sign of good group activity or a sign of group purpose. When correctly implemented, the funds raised by student organizations are more an indication of - or should be an indication of - group problem solving . So, a large amount raised is no more an indicator of success than a small amount or no amount. Funds in Office operations are the means to support learning not a means in themselves. If you must compete, compete to solve problems and learn from their solution - don't compete to put the most money in the bank.
Remember - all fund raised by organizations and clubs must be expended by the close of the College's fical year which is June 30th. Funds not expended go into general programming for the Office of Student Life. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO SPEND YOUR FUNDS - IT SHOULD BE DONE SHORTLY AFTER YOUR FUNDRAISING EVENT!!!!
Fund Raising Forms need to be filed before the event.

Funds Raised by Organization -
Use this ledger to keep track of funds. Create a page in your Wiki and keep the account on line so I can check it as needed. Clubs and Organizations should check your balances against the treasurer's ledger available under Senate link on Home page. You will need to save and upload the ledger after each addition.
