AFRICAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION (ASA)
The purpose of the AFRICAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION (ASA) is to promote the value of education, culture, and awareness of current events among African Students.Create a support system that will help African Students at the Campus to fulfil their academic and personal goals.
Establish and maintain a relationship with other African students in the metropolitan area.
Serve as mentors to young people as a part of our community service.
Share our cultural background with the community by organizing and participating in cultural events. Establish Scholarship funds to help African students in need. It is to organize events and unify the campus around the theme "Africa," And to introduce a positive image of the African Society abroad.

The African club is calling on all African students in Montgomery college to come and represent their individual countries in the up coming African event, scheduled to take place on November 20 2009. The theme of the even is "Promoting Culture and Diversity.
